A black nylon rope cap from the 2024 Malbon Golf collaboration with Motive and DeWalt, the hat Jason Day wore on tour for the Birdies on a Mission campaign. Unstructured five-panel build in lightweight nylon with a flat brim and a white rope across the front. 'motive' sits raised in white across the front panels, with a woven yellow DeWalt patch on each side and the Malbon script embroidered at the back. Inside, the crown is fully taped in repeating Malbon branding and the care label reads Malbon, made in China. The closure is an adjustable strapback with a row of eyelets and a metal clasp, so it sits low and snug. This one almost never surfaces. Malbon sold it online only, every dollar went to the Navy SEAL Foundation, and the licensing between three brands means it is not being made again.

Malbon Golf x Motive x DeWalt, the Jason Day Tour Edition from the 2024 Birdies on a Mission campaign for the Navy SEAL Foundation. Motive donated to the foundation for every birdie Jason Day made on tour. Sold online only through malbongolf.com at $300 with all proceeds to the foundation, now sold out and not slated to return because of the three-way licensing between Motive, DeWalt, and Malbon. Authenticity shows in the Malbon care label and full Malbon interior taping.
